2022 Staircase Project

In 2022, BTA partnered with Techo, a non-profit with offices in many Latin American countries, to fund and construct a 210-foot stairway down a treacherous, steep hill. The photo gallery shows the poor condition of the pathway along which some residents had lived for 25 years. The photos also show an upward view of the area after it had been prepared for construction.

Then a view of which we and the community are super proud—is the completed stairway. The residents of the neighborhoods are very thankful for and proud of the safer passageway.
