Christopher Temple Davis

President

Christopher Temple Davis is the President of the Board of Building Trust Americas. Mr. Davis has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in environmental and energy public policy from the University of Minnesota. He works for the State of Minnesota as an analyst in the area of climate change policy. His job focuses on cost-effective solutions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.


Mr. Davis is also a writer of non-fiction and fiction. His non-fiction works have received awards from the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada, and the State of Minnesota. Currently, he is writing a novel based partly in Colombia.


He joined the first Habitat for Humanity High Impact team in 2013 and instantly fell in love with the people of Colombia, the volunteers who traveled with him and the Habitat staff who organized the trips. Mr. Davis was a member of four other teams of volunteers who worked with Habitat for Humanity in Soacha. His teams raised more than $300,000 to fund Habitat’s work. Mr. Davis is the father of two sons adopted from Russia and lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
